VibeCode Refund Policy
This policy explains what happens to the money you pay VibeCode ("we") for Credit balance and monthly plans, what we do when a payment goes wrong, and how to ask for a refund.
Last updated:
Basic principles
This policy applies to QRIS payments you make to top up your Credit balance or to buy a Pro or Max plan.
- Your wallet balance does not expire.
- Credit can be used within VibeCode only, and only for paid models.
- What you pay is made up of the base price and the service and payment admin fee 13% on the base price.
- Only the base price adds to your balance or activates a plan. The service and payment admin fee does not add to your balance.
- Pro and Max plans last 30 days per purchase and do not renew automatically. Buying the same plan before it ends continues the active period from the end of the current one.
- Plan allowances apply in the VibeCode app and web Chat, not in the API. The API uses your wallet balance only.
- A VibeCode receipt is proof of payment, not a tax invoice.
The payment page and the top-up history on the Credit page show these statuses.
| Status | Meaning | What you need to do |
|---|---|---|
| Pending | The QR code is still valid and the payment has not been read yet. | Pay exactly the QR total before the QR code expires. |
| Processing | The payment was read and your balance or plan is being credited. | Wait a moment. The payment page updates by itself. |
| Paid | The payment was received and your balance or plan has been credited. | Nothing. Your receipt is on the Credit page. |
| Top-up failed | The payment was read and recorded, but crediting has not been confirmed. | Submit a request as described in the section How to submit a request. |
| Expired | The QR code ended after 10 minutes. | If you already paid, see the section Expired QR codes and payments that are read late. |
| Cancelled | The QR code was cancelled, usually because you created a new one. | If you already paid the old QR code, see the same section. |
Payments that were read but not credited
The Top-up failed status means your payment was read and recorded, but crediting your balance or plan has not been confirmed.
The payment is already recorded against your account, and an admin can run the credit again. The retry is designed so that one payment does not credit twice.
Send the total you paid, the time of payment, and the email address of your account to vibetokenapi1@gmail.com. The details are in How to submit a request.
If the credit still cannot be completed, the resolution follows Refunds.
Expired QR codes and payments that are read late
A payment QR code is valid for 10 minutes after it is created. After that its status becomes Expired. If you create a new QR code before paying the old one, the old one becomes Cancelled.
Payments are recognized from the record of funds received on a third-party payment portal, so there is a delay between when you pay and when the payment is read. We do not guarantee that a payment is read within any particular time.
A payment that is read within 15 minutes after a QR code expires or is cancelled is still honored, and if the amount matches, your balance or plan is credited automatically.
A payment that is read only after that window is not guaranteed to be credited automatically. It is kept in a manual review queue and can be reviewed after you submit a request as described in How to submit a request.
Payments that cannot be matched
Pay exactly the total shown with the QR code, without adding or removing anything.
A payment whose amount does not match any QR code that can still be recognized, or that is paid more than once for the same QR code, is not credited automatically. It is recorded and placed in the manual review queue.
To resolve it, submit a request as described in How to submit a request. The resolution follows Refunds.
Refunds
Refunds are not processed automatically; every resolution is handled by hand.
Unused Credit balance
Unused Credit balance stays in your wallet. It is not refunded as money, except because of a system error (Credit that did not arrive or was deducted wrongly) or a duplicate payment. Balance given to you without a payment cannot be refunded. Credit cannot be withdrawn as cash, exchanged for money, or moved to another account. A refund is calculated from the amount you paid.
Active plans
Pro and Max plans last 30 days per purchase and do not renew automatically. A plan that has been used is not refunded. A plan that has not been used at all and is requested within 14 days of payment can be refunded, including when you bought the wrong plan level.
Payment mistakes
A payment is recognized by the total amount of the QR code, so a payment with a different amount is not credited automatically. A payment below or above the QR total, or made to the wrong VibeCode QR code, is reviewed by hand, and what is proven to be yours is credited as Credit balance. A payment made to a QR code that belongs to someone else, not a VibeCode QR code, cannot be refunded by VibeCode. Any cost that arises, if there is any, is borne by the payer.
Duplicate payments
A second payment for the same QR code is not credited automatically and goes to the manual review queue. A duplicate payment is refunded as money or as Credit balance if requested within 14 days of payment.
Late or unread payments
What happens to a QR code that has expired is explained in the section Expired QR codes and payments that are read late. A late or unread payment that is proven to be yours is credited as Credit balance. A plan is not activated automatically.
Service outages
Service outages are covered in the Terms of Service. For a prolonged outage, compensation in Credit is given at the discretion of VibeCode and is not an automatic right.
Service and payment admin fee
The service and payment admin fee 13% is collected when you pay and does not add to your balance. In a refund because of a system error, a duplicate payment, or a plan that has not been used, this fee is refunded together with the base price. VibeCode does not issue tax invoices.
Usage that has already run
Model usage that has already run, in the VibeCode app, web Chat, or the API, reduces your balance or plan allowance by what the model produced. Usage that has already run is not refunded, unless a billing error is proven. An objection to a charge is submitted as described in How to submit a request within 14 days of the date of use. The per-request log is kept only for a limited time, while the daily summary is kept longer, so submit it as early as you can. API billing is described in the section Billing for API use.
Form and method of refund
A refund is made as a transfer to a bank account in the name of the account holder or as Credit balance, as agreed with you. Any transfer fee is deducted from the amount refunded.
Deadlines and processing time
A refund or a payment resolution is requested within 14 days of the payment date, as described in How to submit a request. VibeCode may ask for additional information before deciding. Processing time is not promised.
Exceptions
A refund can no longer be given if the Terms of Service are breached or the service is abused. This policy does not reduce consumer rights under applicable law.
Billing for API use
API use is billed per token from your Credit balance, at the prices in the model list.
- A request rejected before the model runs is not billed, for example because of an invalid key (401), a balance below the estimate (402), or the per-minute request limit being exceeded (429).
- Before the model runs, we temporarily hold an estimate of the cost from your balance. If the model fails or cannot be reached before it produces an answer, the held balance is released in full and the request is not billed.
- A request that has already produced an answer is billed for what the model produced, including when your connection drops before you receive the whole answer.
- If the usage figures from the model never arrive, for example because the stream from the model is cut, we bill according to the size of your request and the text already sent to you, and mark it estimated in the log.
- A request that passes the per-minute request limit is recorded in the request log on the Credit page with a request ID (
x-request-id), without message content, for 30 days. Quote that ID if you question a charge. - If our server restarts exactly while your request is running, the balance held for that request may not be released again. Submit a request quoting the
x-request-idso we can check it.
How to submit a request
Send your request for a refund or for a payment to be resolved to vibetokenapi1@gmail.com from the email address of your account, and include the following so your payment can be found.
- The email address of the VibeCode account you used when you paid.
- The receipt number, in the form
VC-YYYYMMDD-XXXXXXXX, which appears on the receipt on the Credit page once the payment is Paid. - The date and time of the payment (WIB) and the total amount you paid, exact to the rupiah. If the payment has not been read yet, so there is no receipt, these two details replace the receipt number.
- For a dispute about an API charge: the request ID (
x-request-id) and the approximate time of the request. - Proof of payment from your payment app, for example a screenshot, if you have it.
Do not include an API key (sk-vc-…), a password, or any secret code in your request. We never ask for them.
This information is used to match your request against the payment and usage records.
Ending an account and remaining balance
You can stop using VibeCode at any time. The Terms of Service explain when an API key can be revoked, API access limited, or an account disabled. This section explains what happens to the remaining balance in those cases.
You stop using VibeCode on your own
If you delete your account, you can no longer sign in to it to use the remaining balance and plan. The remaining balance and plan are not refunded automatically, so ask for a refund first under Refunds. Deleting the account in the app removes the sign-in account and your profile; the balance, plan, and transaction records on the server remain until you ask for them to be deleted through vibetokenapi1@gmail.com.
VibeCode limits access or disables the account
If VibeCode revokes a key, limits API access, or disables an account because of a breach of the Terms of Service, the remaining Credit balance may be forfeited. If the ending is not due to a breach, the remaining balance stays yours and is refunded under Refunds.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date of the latest update appears at the top of the page.
Changes are announced through a banner on the site and in the app and through the update date on this page. A change applies from that date to later payments and does not apply retroactively to payments already made.
Language
This policy is available in Indonesian and English. If the Indonesian and English versions differ, the Indonesian version prevails.
